OVA Indoor Volleyball Club 2022

About the training:
This program is to introduce young athletes to the sport of volleyball. We are not focused on winning medals at this point but on teaching the technical FUNdamentals of each skill, movement on the court, team work, communication, and growth mindset.

Athletes will play an introductory OVA format where they play 4 vs 4.  The teams will have 2 practices a week and 4-5 OVA competitions throughout the year.
See the calendar below for details on the competition dates. 
Fees will include training, competitions, and uniform costs.
 
  • Age Eligibility: 9-13 years old
  • Tryouts:           Oct 3rd and 8th - and will be extended if needed.
                               Tryout location: Toronto Volleyball Training Center
  • Practice dates:   Tue/Fri at 6 pm - 8 pm 
  • Fees: 
    Tryout fees are $20/tryout.
    Parents are expected to pay a range between $2350 to $2500 for the season, should we not find sponsors to offset the costs. However, since our goal is to offer equal access opportunities, this is something we are actively working on.
    Important Note: We encourage parents and members of the community to connect us with companies who are looking to sponsor teams to help our offset costs for our team members and increase opportunities for those in need.

    Locations TBD in North York. 
  • Competitions:
    Athletes will have 4-5 competitions during the year at various locations within the GTA.

Beach Volleyball Club 2022

About the training:
A program to introduce young athletes to the sport of beach volleyball. We focus on teaching the technical FUNdamentals of each skill, movement on the sand, team work, communication, and growth mindset.
Athletes train 9-11 am and then have an hour for free play to connect with their peers in a more informal and unstructured manner.
  • Ages: 9-13 years old
  • Dates: Start week of July 4th.
    Mon/Wed 9 am-12 pm. 
  • Place: Etobicoke. 
  • Fees:
    $26/session - Full Season price
    $30/session - Week-to-Week price ($60/week)
  • Subsidy: 
    Thanks to the Ontario Sports Network, partial subsidy is available for newcomers or to those in financial need depending availability. Please contact if you think you need it. Proof of income or newcomer status required for auditing purposes.
  • Competitions:
    Kids who wish can compete in the Ontario Beach Volleyball Tour 2022. 
    Athletes must pay an OVA membership fee and tournaments to play.
